So, you have booked your ideal fishing charter with Topnotch Game Fishing on your chosen date. Next, making dinner reservations at one of the many Hamilton Island restaurants is best. First, let’s decide on the desired type of dining experience. Fine dining, relaxed or casual, there is something to suit everyone.
Let’s start with a relaxed and casual takeaway experience. First up, Popeye’s Takeaway. Fast, fresh, and very convenient! Popeye’s is the spot for great fish and chips on Hamilton Island. After your fishing charter has finished and you disembark from our game boats on the B Arm, it’s a minute’s walk straight to the shop to have your fresh fish cooked to your liking and served with chips. It is a treat for all ages at $25.00 per kilo – battered, crumbed or grilled.

Topnotch Fine Dining Restaurant Experience
Now, we are stepping up the service and location atmosphere so you can enjoy your fresh catch. Choose from the many award-winning restaurants for your perfect dining experience at $35.00 per person with the chef’s selection of accompaniments.
Manta Ray serves a Mediterranean menu with a mix of seafood and meat dishes. It’s a fun and family-friendly atmosphere overlooking the magical Hamilton Island Marina.
Pool Terrace overlooks the swimming pool at the Reef View Hotel. The restaurant serves a la carte evening meals and is a relaxed, family-friendly environment on the pool’s edge.
Sails is a family-friendly restaurant with spectacular views overlooking Catseye Beach and the Sails Pool. With a laid-back vibe, Sails offers a casual dining experience, with an à la carte lunch menu comprising modern Australian dishes.
Coca Chu offers mouth-watering cuisine inspired by Southeast Asian hawker-style street food. It fuses bold Asian flavours with a relaxed Australian style and overlooks beautiful Catseye Beach.

- Self-Caught Fish Waiver form to be filled out – Forms are available from our boats, or you can download them here – BYO Fish Waiver Form
- All fish are to be gilled, gutted and scaled.
- The fish must be stored, transported (in hygienic and food-safe containers) and presented at the correct temperature (below 5 degrees Celsius)
- Fish must be tagged with the charter fishing boat company’s name, guest name and room number, date, and the restaurant where you would like to dine.
- The fish needs to be delivered to the restaurant before 5:00 pm.
For guests staying in-house at Qualia and Beach Club Resorts, please check with your Guest Services team before departure for available in-house restaurant services.
